Is That the Right Problem Set?

Historically, I think we would have just kind of had to reinvent the wheel or come up with some plan for solving a problem like that. There's also an emerging set of technologies that could enable us to do this kind of computation in maybe even a peer-to-peer way using a protocol that works on encrypted data. Secure multi-party compute is one such technology that could allow us to combine our data sets potentially directly with one another without it ever being decrypted.
