How to Determine Your Lactate Threshold and Anchor Points

The zones that you should have received are based around this anchor point, your lactate threshold and also the first inflection point or LT1 as that's sometimes called. So if it was 145 for you, your threshold zone might be from 137, 138 or so up all the way until your threshold heart rate 145 beats per minute,. Maybe even a couple of beats higher at least if you do longer intervals or longer continuous segments at this sort of heart rate. Martin: I'm into my final three weeks of marathon training and starting to taper, but I've picked up a little virus and feel like I'm coming down with something.
