The Problem With What Overlaid
A lot of times as game designers we're making tools, right? I think a good tool designer doesn't quite know what the tool is going to be used for. That when I'm designing a card, I want to make a card that is as many uses as possible. And so a lot of what that has happened over time is where can I make things open ended? Like part of magic design has been where are the fun spots where if I just let Playbill do something, then they can explore and find that.
