The Effects of Self-Reported RPE on Proximity to Failure

The four to six group on the squat I believe was a little bit faster than we maybe would have anticipated which kind of makes sense right if you're trying to five RPE a squat. We also measured the bar speed of every single repetition and then while we can't from the way things were designed say a hunt with 100% confidence that the groups actually did train the proximity to the failure that they reported using some other group data from our lab we can say with a relative degree of confidence they were accurate for the most part.
