The Different Types of Bird Songs
There's a lot of information that's contained in bird songs, but they're not necessarily using words like people do. Birds make all kinds of sounds when they're communicating. Calls are used for such a wide variety of things. It might be mates communicating with one another about where they are while they're foraging. Or it might be an alarm call where a bird is trying to indicate that there's a predator nearby or some other sort of danger.
