The Impact of the Pandemic on Pfizer

The last two and a half, three years have been the most impactful of my career. When we heard that the vaccine was more than 90% effective, the chief scientist raised up his hands and screamed "It's the biggest medical advance in a century" I came there specifically to try to beat back the big pharma bad reputation. And for those who worked on this vaccine, for anyone who has worked in an extreme crisis, it is the most motivating, energizing, exciting, stretching, out of mind, out of our body thing that you can do.
