The Minimum Effective Dose

As we get older, lean muscle mass is very important for our cognitive health and many other aspects of our health. The minimum effective dose is two to three sets on most muscle groups a week. Eight to 12 sets per muscle group per week split over two to three sessions. And with that kind of training protocol, so three times a week, three sets per musclegroup, maybe, so maybe six to eight different exercises each time.
