The Role of Muscle Size in Neuro-Mechanical Matching

There is data suggesting that the neuro-mechanical matching doesn't actually take into consideration passive tension. If we look at some of the limited data we've got in this area, we do tend to see that muscle size tends to predict activation within a group. I think that's because size generally is pretty predictive of leverage. The larger the muscle is, the more it bulges away from the bone, the better the leverage.
