The Importance of Admitting Your Mistakes

CUNYO: I live by the essential about tell people what you really think, admit your mistakes. Many people think that admitting their mistakes makes them look weak. Right. It doesn't. Great leaders are willing to show their human side. Yeah. So after your time on Navy, hugely important time in your young life at that point, someone encourages you to go study business and you went to Harvard Business School. Everyone was sort of stunned to hear that. Pretty surprised, I'll tell you. And the end of the story is this, that captain eventually made Admiral. Wow. We all have our heroes in life and that first captain would certainly be one of them for me.
