Is There a Difference Between Walking and Running?
The advantage of switching from a run to a walk is that the way that you're using the muscles is so markedly different. Part of the way that that shows up, as you mentioned, is your cadence. And when I look at that and knowing this localized fatigue phenomenon that's happening that might be alleviated by switching between those two modalities, I say, no, I actually want it to be different.
