Why Protein Is So Important
If we don't have muscle then in general, we'll have more fats. We also need protein to help build our bones, to maintain our hair and skin strength,. The other important thing with proteins is that they are the building blocks for our neurotransmitters. So very important for our memory, for our mood, for example. It also helps, as I mentioned earlier, to try and balance our blood sugar. And that's what can affect our mood swings, for example, our weight gain.
