Culture and Values Adapt to Stabilize Cohesion

For a society to thrive, it needs stability. So culture and values adapt to reflect and stabilize the long term balance of power of a society. Women in sane cultures are considered to be the most attractive in their late thirties and forties - much like men at that age are thought to be attractive in western societies. A society where women lead family in political life does not take kindly to sexual assaults. People don't just magically adapt to things. We make choice ces based on our values. And our intelligence and our assessment of situations and our feelings.
