How Do You Think About Pricing?

As an independent director for young founders, I can turn around in the meeting to the investor and say, you guys need to write a check when you do this. One of my most vivid memories is, you know, he was trying to figure out pricing. And he sort of stopped the meeting and sort of gave him pricing 101 lecture. He says there's no right answer; you have to go do it. Go in the beginning, the first customer, it doesn't matter what the price is. You basically want a price to optimize the opportunity.
