Adam Perry: Thoughts are simply mental events. If you can relate to them as such, they lose their power. Where we run into trouble is when we get caught up in our thoughts and we start to believe them. We just want to watch them arise, stay for a moment and pass away. That changes the experience to be a little bit more useful.
