Al Farabi's Philosophy of Aristotle
According to Al Farabi, we should only count ourselves as absolutely certain when what we believe is necessarily, essentially, and permanently true. Notice that this seems to suggest there is no absolute certainty about future events like sea battles. He also draws on the posterior analytics when he lays out his conception of the philosophical curriculum as a whole.
