The Harvard Study of Normal Development From Adolescents to Young Adulthood

It's been going for 85 years. It started with two studies that didn't actually know about each other, even though they both started at Harvard. One was a study of Harvard College sophomores who were thought by their deans to be fine-upstanding young men. At Harvard Law School there was aStudy of how some children from Boston's poorest neighborhoods and from their most troubled families stayed out of trouble. And so we've also studied those people starting in 1938.
