If you're with somebody who's anxiously tapping their feet, you'll find yourself pretty soon tapping your feet and becoming increasingly anxious. If we're with people who smile easier, study shows will smile more frequently. And on the other hand, if we're withPeople who are more likely to frown or in their posture become hung over and contracted then we'll experience the same. So we unconsciously mimic the body states of others. We start to feel the same feelings that they're feeling because so much of emotions and internal states are essentially body states.
