What Is a Microburst?
In post accident interviews, several passengers said they felt the get bumpy due to the storm. The investigation into this incident was carried out by the n t s b. They determined that the crew unknowingly entered into a microburst. A microburst is just essentially thing like a column of air or a column of wind coming from the sky straight down to the ground. And then when it hits the ground, it kind of like fans out.
