Is There an Opportunity to Really Wake Up Our Hearts?

Sometimes we come out of our thoughts and come into the wilderness. And in that presence we discover that compassion and that tenderness. But at other times, there's the keeper's hold, the fear, and going in and in is not safe enough. So i want to end with a story that kind of speaks to that, because it became so clear to me I was at a a one month retrea. A woman who had been really distraughts about her life came back saying she went to church this morning.
