After 40 years, Phil had stepped down as CEO. He'd left it in good shape. Their sales had been 16 billion in 2006 when he finished up compared to their biggest rival Adidas was on 10 billion. The youngest employees at the company also have gratitude because they have also made this informal discussion group. They called themselves the spirit of 1972, which is really the spirit of what the essence of this book is all about. Those are their independence day, yeah? Around their independence day. It's pretty cool moments, man. But I suppose if you even half of that, you're pretty onto something pretty big.
