I Can't Remember a Thing Like That
"I'm never going to get it even remotely close to that eause," he says of his first real food memories. "You have basically blue cheese, extremely pungent, fierce blue cheese and i'l sing, toy, howthat?" He recalls a chef who told him potatoes were more valuable than white truffles because she grew up in Italy with war. 'It's got to be with eggs or posta or rice or whatever,' the writer adds.
