Give yourself the benefit of the doubt because you're going to be the one who takes like the imaginary shrapnel and carries it around with you if you hold grudges. Never attribute to malice, what you can attribute to incompetence or business,. But I think you did a pretty good job, but could definitely be a little overbearing at times.
