Do You Think There Is Alpha in Long-Term Growth?

I had a call recently with someone who was asking me about the growth rate of my podcast. He said it's gonna take you like 15 years to get to the size of Joe Rogan at your current rate and I was like man that would be awesome only 15 years. But there is this weird thing about growth rates in Silicon Valley where people are kind of freaking out if they're not doubling every couple of months, he says. If something isn't growing super fast then you might want to make a change but that even exists within the framework of a long-term thinking according to Mark Zuckerberg. Do you think there is alpha in just being more patient over a longer period of time?
