Laughing, Humming, and Singing
Our body automatically associates activation of smile muscles with safety and relaxation, unless it's been counter conditioned. Singing is going to cause vibrations in your larynx. Humming may promote the release of endorphins as well as activate the relaxation response via the vagus nerve. Laughing can be very helpful because when you laugh, not only are you usually breathing deeply, but you are also causing vibrations in yourLarynx.
