Can We Purposely Increase Our Heart Rate?
There's been some really interesting research where they're looking at baseline heart rate variability. The individuals with higher vaggle activity and parasympathetic markers of hrv respond to the stressor better than those who have lower ones. We found a significant relationship between the weekly mean sorry it was non-significant because our sample size was only 12 suffix but qualitatively it was a large correlation indicating that the increase in yourhrv so you're you're increasing the weekly mean in addition to a reduction in the coefficient of variation was a positive response to the training.
