Making Tamanido for a Young Child in the Sonoran Desert
Linda's grandfather Fred Rundstatt has a book called Borterman which is a kind of a posthumous memoir by aghur autobiography of his life on the Sonoran Desert. He mentions making agua determiner and do as a young child in the Sonoran desert in the I guess late 1800s and it hasn't changed. She had a recipe that she knew by heart when she was a hippie chicken malibu she'd make this bread but she adapted it by adding whole wheat flour and using molasses and honey instead of white sugar. The back of the lp has a picture of this beautiful loaf of bread that she made herself oh my god that's amazing
