The Importance of Focusing on What Matters

I'm a technical person so I do development mostly. And for me, I try to keep the technology out of it as much as possible because the technology just muddles things down. A client doesn't care if I'm going to build their website in the latest with the latest functional programming framework or with some old thing from 1997. That's really the important thing is that I'm focusing on what it is that like the value that they are seeing from going forward with the project and focusing on maximizing it.
