Make sure you've got three to six months worth of expenses set aside for a, you know, your rainy day fund. And it's like you are only a few tough decisions and a few tough conversations away from a fantastic business. You can fire that shitty client, you can get rid of your premises that's in the wrong part of town and get a better one in the right part of town. Just because you've been putting up with something for ages doesn't mean you can't solve it in two weeks.
