United and American Report Strong Second Quarter Earnings
United and American reported very strong second quarter earnings as expected. United agreed to a new contract with its pilots with really big pay raises. Americans pilot union says their new deal is about 2% below New deals at United. Once they see what the Delta, United and American contracts pay, they will most likely reach a deal.
