How to Identify Novices and Experts in Your Classroom

There's a few ways to think about novice versus expert or novice versus develop learner. Different kids have different rates at which they can build up long term memory some kids are able to organize that better and there also be some students where particular functions are affected in disproportionate ways the way school is taught. We're identifying novices and experts in our classroom, not just what teachers are already doing but how we do it.
