The Importance of Core Stability in the Warmup
In many of our programs, Smitty and I will add some planks, some core exercises, core stability exercises in the warmup. Just doing 15 to 20 seconds of a front plank and a side plank can be very beneficial for opening up those hips without stretching at all. And remember, the approximate stability before distal mobility strengthen that core so we could free up the limbs.
