The meaning that we read into things isn't a priori. It doesn't come from some objective, you know, template that we're born with. It comes from what our past experience have taught us those things mean. And so once and I won't go into all of the neuroscience as to how it then becomes embedded as permanent in what's known as our cognitive unconscious.
