The Great Powers of Europe - The War of 18 Forty Eight

In the years after 18 forty eight those reactionary political powers were ascendant. The power of these revolutionaries was limited, to say the least. So though one must always keep a watchful eye, the threat of revolution from below was pretty minimal. Don't focus on overthrowing the state. Just ignore it. Build worker collectives and voluntary associations as an alternative to coercive and exploitive capitalism. These voluntary associations will grow and spread, and the next thing you know, we don't even need a revolution, because it's already done.
