How Did You Overtrain as a Student Athlete?
I think that being a student athlete actually pushed me into this whole category of understanding lifestyle and understanding performance. The big insight I had in founding loop was that understanding the other 20 hours of the day is as important as understanding a period of time when you exercise. There was such an over emphasis 10, 12 years ago on exercise as it came to performance. And no one was talking about recovery. So that was the insight at the time that was counterintuitive that led to a lot of our success with whoop.
