The Leadership Literature Has Been Dissolved Into Mush

Leadership has always been about making a call and getting everyone to follow you right or wrong. The literature on leadership has become soft and politically attuned to this generic form of leadership, which if you hold it up to any true leader does not ring true. Great leaders are always flawed and their characters are always the price we pay for the leadership we get. It's just that leadership became mushy and soft 20 years ago and divorced from reality in my opinion.
