Long termism is the idea of investing in a future we will not necessarily most likely see ourselves. Can you make that self interested, or how do you position it such that it appeals to the greatest number of people possible? Since our collective destiny depends on some critical mass of people taking it seriously, right? Cant probably isn't one person. We're not going to get, say, nine billion people. So how many do we hope to embrace this philosophy, and is it possible to position it as self interested?
