Are You a Distance Runner?
Conventional wisdom tells us distance runners tend to pique their performance in their thirties. That is based on elite runners who train basically their entire lives at a very, very high level. However, the rest of us are not elite runners and as you have just illustrated, it is entirely possible to become faster into your forties, fifties and even beyond. It doesn't mean once you hit that five years mark, or seven year mark, or whatever happens to be, might be 12 year mark for you,. Whatever it is, it doesn't mean you're automatically going to just fall off a cliff and decline.
