With every big workout, merits recovery, and that's how you get better. Othe preparation stuff is just kind ofer, kind of cooling down a run, or being prepared for what's coming next. If i feel like my energy levels are consistent throughout, if i feel like maybe i'm even getting stronger near the end of the run, that's a pretty good indication to me  that my fat adaptation is where it needs to be in order to imize that side of the equation on race day. I could probl to a whole episode on this particular question, butl leave it at that for now and then.
