Anger Is a Bad Emotion
I often think about people who commit heinous acts of violence, like mass murderers or cereal killers. And in most cases, these are people who also feel kindness. It it makes sense to me to think that their anger had turned to hatred and crowded out all the other feelings. We're hard wired to feel emotions whether we want to or not. Certain experiences will automatically trigger emotions. When triggered, the rational or pragmatic part of our mind ends up just going along for the ride.
