"I see it as impacting someone's life or also just, I like to kind of look at this term and I've stepped back from it just like in the last couple of years," she says. "It's when someone just like lives a life like confidently and who they are." She started Beautifully Flyed with her friend Bethany Hamilton five years ago. The retreat is for girls that have lost limbs but haven't met any other ones.
