"I won the race by quite a lot. And I felt really good, really happy to have a win," she says. "The hardest part of this whole race for me was watching this young girl give me my finisher's medal" A family who lost their mother in a bike accident were there at the finish line and gave Dakota her medal. She said they did the iron kids the day before they both raced.
