The Benefits of Walking for Mental Health
Walking or just moving your body in any way is a really quick, easy way to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and regulate your response to stress. I find that when we're de-stressing, we're thinking about what's going to happen, what has happened, the present and the power of now. Or as me and Joel said, if we were to open a bowel bun restaurant, we'd call it the power of bowel. The power of bowel buns. We should get some merch with that one. Mental health? Yes, let's go for mental health. Go on then. There's no shame in getting into therapy. Get the therapies you need.
