In a conversation, you can kind of identify what sensory preference that person has. As soon as the blink rate starts going up, you are either encountering disbelief or some kind of stress. You need to take a physical step back, even if it's only an inch, and start to deescalate whatever thought process they have. In our industry, we're building report and we're kind of using their language, so to speak. We're speaking in visual terms because they speak in visual terms. So where do you use this most these days? The super power is teaching it.
