How Did You Determine AKI With Cystad in C?
The primary analysis was of change in biomarker from baseline to day two as a continuous measure. We wanted to look at system C concentration during a measure during the 24 hour window prior to initiation of antibiotics and then 48 hours after that. And so because the timing of blood draws was not anchored around antibiotic times, but rather ICU admission, there wasn't a perfect alignment for all patients. So that's the reason why although we included 739 patients in the study only a subset, 192 had system C measurements that appropriately drawn and made sense to analyze.
