The First Hop and the First Beer

Matoika is a premier New Zealand hop developed by Hort Research. The triploid was bred from Sats and an unnamed New Zealand breeding strain. Sierra Nevada debuted their southern hemisphere harvest fresh hops in April 2014 using Matoika along with southern cross as it's finishing hop. This thing in Southern Cross might be another brewery. It's a pop. So, that's exactly how I think of it as kind of sweet, fruity style beers.
