How Can I Demonstrate My Value in a Small Company?

The number one question i get asked, how can i demonstrate my value in terms of the work that i do with content? I just feel like that is going to be an ongoing shared challenge within our larger community. And i really hope that we continue to see folks being brave about stepping up and saying, here's what i think about these much larger issues.
