When traveling east, the rule of thumb is you need to advance your clock and it's a bit more complicated. To adjust quickly, you avoid the morning light in the new time zone and then seek out the late afternoon light for the first few days in the new Time Zone. Sunglasses can help very substantially in that regard. You don't have to understand the mechanism. And some way is my intuition, like you're delaying your old clock to match the new clock. Yeah, exactly.
