Hypertrophy
Anything south of five raps is going to be vastly proportional in its fatiguing effects and underwhelming in its hypertrophic effects. It's great for strength, but its s not very good for hypertrophy because the fatigue is way, way higher. Most of the raps being done are simply to get you tired enough for the muscles to start struggling. So any time i see a hypertrophy program training within five, 20 rup sets, i don't really ask any questions about raps very much. I'm just going, cool, kate. Great.
