How to Pay Attention

We all have distinctive patterns of paying attention where our attention goes. Our habit of how we pay attention totally shapes our moods. The Buddha said, whatever we think about regularly, that becomes the habit of our mind. You close your eyes for a moment and mentally conjure up the word trouble and just say it to yourself. Say it a few times. Hear your inner voice saying it strongly. And now the word kindness. Just mentally repeat the word kindness a number of times.
