i think it's very easy for us to catastrophize all the feelings that we might be having when we're on the treadmill. You can easily refrain those feelings by telling yourself, "You've reached the kind of optimum point of your exercise" And then even during the work out, like do enjoy the discomfort to a certain extent. i have to say, i used to find it agonizing and horrible before i started changing my mind.
